Union Groove is a jam band combining the artistry and imagination of jazz with the edge and intensity of rock. The formation of the band can be traced back to 2001, however it wasn’t until mid-2002 that all the pieces fell into place. The band prides themselves on a natural blend of instrumental improvisation, a tight rhythm section, and gritty vocals. Union Groove has developed a reputation as talented and dynamic live performers.

In June 2003, Union Groove compiled a selection of original music and headed for the studio. The product emerged as an explosive 6-song EP entitled A Little Bit of Magic. The choice of songs accentuates the band’s ability to write strong original tunes. Even with such striking studio work, Union Groove’s live performance is beyond comparison. The band is beginning to draw attention from numerous sources throughout Wisconsin.
