Tripped and Falling is a 5-piece punk/rock band hailing from Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies). Although a young band Tripped and Falling confidently push the boundaries set before them and deliver music that is of a uniquely structured and distinctive sound which belies their youth. Their music can be described as infections merging with controlled aggression, power and melody. Originally formed in June 2001 Tripped and Falling solidified their lineup of passionate musicians and friends in August 2004 with, Lead Vocalist – Chad Affonso, Guitarists – Barry Bibby and Gerard Mendonca, Bassist – Chad Mouttet and Drummer – Jonathon “Otto” Otway.
2004 saw Tripped and Falling working harder then ever, playing shows, promoting the band and putting the finishing touches on a brand new EP titled “End is Now” it marks a great deal of development for the band and promises to show that TAF is definitely a force to be reckoned with among bands not only locally but Internationally as well.

With thousands of fans and a string of hit songs in their homeland of Trinidad and Tobago, Tripped and Falling packed it all up and left for the UK in persuit of bigger musical dreams. 2007 sees the band now signed to Juxtaposition Records UK as they prepare to release the first single from their debut album, ‘Victoria’.
’Victoria’, this year’s hottest breakthrough rock album, marks the tremendous growth and musical maturity of Tripped and Falling. Punktastic.com call the album “An absolute blinder” adding that the album had “Enough hooks to have me singing along for ages”.
Planet Loud commented that the album was “Dripping with melody but with enough bite to rock you from the top of your head and right through every bone in your body”. The band has also recently received U.K. radio airplay on BBC Radio to add to their international radio presence.
Coupled with an incredible live show, full of energy and raw power, you would be hard pressed to find a band with as much passion, drive and persona as this. Tripped and Falling, are ambitious to bring their special brand of rock to the British public and show no signs of slowing down on their way to the top.
