37-year-old songwriter/guitarist. I travel between Birmingham and Nashville often enough that my truck knows the way. I just lay back and ride... I have had the good fortune to hook up with a guy named Chuck Jones, who has written such hits as "Your Love Amazes Me", "Love A Little Stronger", "Only The Wind", and "Count Me In" to name a few. I have learned a lifetime of knowledge about the craft of songwriting from him. We co-wrote some of the songs here and I look forward to writing many more with him. Still waiting for the big one, but I have learned that enjoying the process is far more important than the results. I'm old enough to know that you have to do it for the love of it and nothing more. Anything above the joy of creating the song is gravy...

My best friend is my other co-writer - his name is Scotty Cothran. You can hear his great blues voice on our songs and he can sing your heart out. Great co-writers are a blessing and I'm lucky...
