I've been writing songs since the age of 12.
Throughout the years I have always worked on a balance between
writing music and performing as a musician.
After backing up other artists for most of my life I decided it was time
to be the front man. In 2007 I wrote, recorded, produced, performed and mixed my first solo album: All Of My Life. Now, I am very excited about the release of my second album: Every Single Day in March of 2012
I had a little more help from some amazing friends such as
Jamila Ford, Dave Pearlman, Jennifer Quiroz, Ronan Chris Murphy and Stephanie Villa
and I am sure you'll love it :) I have placed some of my songs in Film and TV and have been awarded the 2008 and 2009 ASCAPlus Pop Award as well as receiving honorable mentioning for the 2011Billboard International Songwriting Competition for my song Everything Else Came Through.
I am spending more and more time producing and mixing for fellow songwriters
and still love to backup artists as a drummer.

BIO:
Thomas Hornig graduated with Honors from the prestigious Musicians Institute's Percussion Institute of Technology in 1989.
He has been living the studio lifestyle since age 12; sitting in as a session player, playing drums and writing original music.
It was not until Hornig, now an accomplished singer/songwriter, recorded, mixed and produced his debut record All of My Life in 2006, that he discovered his calling for producing and mixing records.
Now a producer and engineer at his brainchild, Tomcat on the Prowl Productions, Hornig prides himself on not succumbing to the typical "in and out" production studio routine and takes a more modern day "boutique studio" approach with his artists.
Hornig focuses on developing the sound, expanding the artist's versatility, and leading the artist to a suitable musical direction.
Having previously toured in his native Germany and making stops in France, England, Holland, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Alaska; Thomas Hornig brings experience and his understanding of music to the production of new records.
He received the ASCAPPLUS POP Award 2008 and again in 2009
His song Everything Else Came Through Received Honorable Mention in the 17th Billboard World Song Contest in 2010
Hornig strives to work with more singer/songwriters in hopes to provide guidance to the artist to help create their sound, while continuing to work on his career as a songwriter.
