THE WHITE FLAGS are an American rock band formed in Houston, Texas. The group consists of Seth Perez (vocals, piano, guitar), Robert Cates (bass guitar and acoustic guitar), Justin McCraw (lead guitar), and Ricardo White (drums). They have an endearing and universal sound that is rooted in rock but incorporates aspects of many genres of popular music. Perez's impassioned, often heavily spiritual, soul-bearing vocals combine with strong melodic instrumentals and infectious bass and drum lines to form the band's signature sound.

THE WHITE FLAGS are an American rock band formed in Houston, Texas. In early 2011 Perez was about half way through a solo project when it dawned on him that he'd been writing songs for a band concept. According to Perez, he prayed and contemplated the concept for a few weeks before moving forward. When he'd emerged on the other side he formed THE WHITE FLAGS, calling first on Cates (with whom he'd been doing some composing for the solo project). The two agreed that Justin McCraw, who'd done some studio guitar work for Perez, should be involved. Ricardo White was finalized as a member in mid 2011, thus rounding out the live show, and has already expanded the breadth of what the band can do in the studio. To-date THE WHITE FLAGS have soft-released a few singles as a prelude to their forthcoming LP release. The first is currently available on iTunes - titled "Salvation" as released by Perez.

Adding to the band's cutting edge sound and style is Grammy-winning and multi-platinum Producer Happy Perez. Hap's shortlist of A-talent he's worked with (and/or is currently working with) includes artists such as Ryan Tedder, Frankie J, Baby Bash, Ludacris, Miguel, Rhianna and B.O.B. Hap's contribution to THE WHITE FLAGS' catchy and timeless sound has already proven to serve as a plus as THE WHITE FLAGS are seizing their listeners right where they are.

Perez has been trained and made ready by touring and doing what he does alongside proven artists such as Lakewood Church's very own Israel Houghton, Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff, and Anointed.
