The Eye is the nom de guerre of Tyler Owen, a singer/songwriter/producer now living in his native Omaha, NE. After spending several years in Los Angeles pursuing the music business both professionally and creatively, Owen chose to return to the midwest to raise a family outside of the hustle and bustle of crowded California. He gigs frequently and has just finished a fourth album under the name The Eye (previous efforts included Loveseat, a band that charted on Soundscan's sales charts in 2000). Several of the Eye's tracks have been included in film soundtracks and television (most notably MTV''s Road Rules and Real World programs). The single "If All the World" from the release "The Joy of Diving" (2000) garnered national attention on commercial radio outlets in over 50 markets. The single "I Am Siam" from "E.P.D" (2001) also achieved national recognition on college and video outlets across North America.
