James Weber is a staff composer for Hest Kramer Music (Minneapolis/Santa Monica), writing and producing music for television, film, advertising, theater, and recording artists.

Weber won AICP awards in 2004 and 2002 - the work is on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art (NYC); a 2003 ASCAP/NARAS Pop Songwriting Award; two 2002 “The Show” Awards; the 2001 New York Festival Award; placed in the 2003 Windrift Songwriting Contest and the 2004 Song of the Year Contest.

Recent projects include work for Target, Sears, McDonalds, Mattel, Moet, Looney Toons, Kia, Rod Stewart, Craig David, The Melismatics, Sophia Shorai, and Jesse Lang.

Weber began music at age three learning piano, trumpet, and guitar by age ten, later adding bass, horns, programming, and anything nercessary. He studied technique, theory, composition, and arranging at the University of Wisconsin.
