Susan Colin - Bio
Susan Colin is an award-winning singer/songwriter, cantorial soloist and service leader based in the Dallas, Texas area. Her newest CD Every Day is a collection of contemporary songs in English and Hebrew that express the spiritual journey of Jewish adults. However, her music is enjoyed by listeners of all faiths and backgrounds, as evidenced by the many settings that listeners apply these songs to (interfaith weddings, funerals, church services of all denominations.) Her musical background extends across a variety of styles, including choral, classical, pop, jazz, and liturgical music. A recording artist since the age of 18, Susan enjoyed opportunities to write, sing and create vocal arrangements for original rock operas, country and pop songs, and commercial jingles before turning her focus to inspirational music. Susan also sings with professional choirs performing classical and symphonic works. These varied influences are apparent in her elegant writing and the lush production of her three CDs: Every Day, Shabbat Favorites, and Prayer of the Heart.
