Sassy sexy vocals, a locomotive rhythm section and guitars like pussycat karate chops add up to intoxicating runway Ramona rama-lama. Stungun, an all female set, formed in Detroit in 1997. In the early days, as garage pow[d]er punk band, they were known more for their vampy presentation and attitude. Stungun's latest release is Venus Envy, a ten song C.D. Produced by the Peters Bros. of Getaway Cruiser and Electric Six (Chris Peters - John R. Dequindre) fame, StunGun seizes the listener's ear with catchy, memorable hooks and melodic, layered vocals. With comparisons to Blondie and The Go-Gos. StunGun's sound has an appeal that belongs only to them. Today, you'll find the song "Killer" in the psycho-thriller "NEVERMORE", starring Judd Nelson and Jenifer O'Dell, 2008. The song "More" is going to be in an upcoming horror film called DOG. You can see a young version of StunGun in indie film "A Detroit Thing", also stars Kid Rock & other Detroit bands. Info
