Steve Clark grew up in a musical family in the Washington, D.C. area. From ages 15 thru 25 he played in several rock and country/rock bands. Then, after many years of musical dormancy, he rediscovered the joy of creating music. His first effort "Sunrise" had a James Taylor-ish sound and feel to it, with a couple of instrumental tracks thrown in.

His most recent effort "Higher Ground" is a richly textured all-instrumental CD centered around his original acoustic guitar tracks. He has incorporated mandolin, bouzouki, violin, cello, electric and acoustic slide guitar, acoustic bass, electric bass, piano, drums, hand drums, and saxaphone...played by an impressive list of superb musicians.

Steve is a chiropractor with offices in Gaithersburg and Pasadena, MD. He has 3 grown children, and lives with his wife on the water near Annapolis. He enjoys learning cello, archery, weight training, gardening, cycling, and reading books that expand his knowledge and spirituality.
