For over fifteen years Stefan Youngblood has been making music that navigates a path through the emotional static of modern life towards a better place. With a style that combines pop, folk, acoustic soul and classical, he writes songs that are wake up calls to the heart, and balm for the soul. Stefan’s own musical story began in high school,drawing on influences from James Taylor to Motown. He created a sound that is both highly personal and emotionally forthright. He garnered significant success as the only African American Songwriting Winner at Saddleback (The Purpose Driven Life). He recently wrote and produced “We Will Rise”, adopted in the Gulf Region as the Anthem of Hope for victims of Katrina.
