Christine Long and Michelle Roberts have been writing and co-writing for a year and a half. Michelle plays bass and rhythm guitar, and Christine plays keys and dabbles in bass and guitar as well. Both Michelle and Christine sing lead and harmonies.

For two months, the girls put together twelve songs that they felt were their best, and recorded them on an 8-track machine in Michelle’s living room. They pressed one hundred CDs with the intention of giving them away to family and friends, and maybe selling a few. They quickly learned that word of mouth is a great thing, and sold out of their CD within two weeks. This was very encouraging to the duo, who had never recorded anything like this before – it was their own, original music.

Listeners consistently commented about their vocal blend and the melodic nature of their songs. With some validation and minor success, the girls set out to generate interest in their music. They are currently working on their second CD.
