ROGER DAVIDSON (piano) is an eclectic and prolific pianist, composer, and arranger whose experience spans the Classical, Jazz and International music worlds. Frequently collaborating with leading musicians from around the world, Davidson has produced a rich body of work for many combinations of instruments and voices.
His Classical compositions include many pieces for mixed chorus
including "Missa Universalis II", which premiered in Boston by Massa Sacra; "Unispace" (for choir, piano, organ and percussion) which toured major cities as a benefit for UNICEF in 1987; and "Mandala", a finalist in the Composers’ Competition of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra in 1983. In addition to recording "Missa Universalis"
(Soundbrush), Davidson has recorded two tango albums: "Mango Tango" (Rainbow Collection) and "Amor por el Tango" (Soundbrush), and an album under the same label of Richard Rodgers tunes played Brazilian style, "Rodgers in Rio'. His next release on Soundbrush Records is "
