Bio

Deborah Soul has been playing the piano since she was four years old, and has been a published songwriter since she was a teenager. One of her earliest songs, "Brother Billy" even earned a review in the LA Times and Playboy magazine! After spending some years away from the music business, she returned full force in 1994.
For the past 10 years she has been one half of the successful female country duo "Hart & Soul" with singer/songwriter Kimber Hart. Veteran record producer Joel R. King (Tina Turner, The Righteous Bros., The Everly Bros., Rolling Stones) along with Sand Island Records, began producing their unique sound in 1994.
Because of the appeal of their original music, Country Music Hall of Famer Buck Owens generously "loaned" them his legendary Buckaroos for their recording sessions in Bakersfield. The Buckaroos have served as friends and mentors in helping them share the music they love - by recording both their first and second CDs. The two CDs were recorded and mixed by award-winning engineer Max Reese (Julio Iglesias, Korn, Tom Petty), and mastered at Capitol Records in Hollywood by Reese and Capitol’s Dave McEowen.
When in Bakersfield, CA, Deborah and Kimber were invited to take the stage at the Crystal Palace with Buck Owens and the Buckaroos during his show broadcast live along the west coast. Later that year, the Buckaroos played “back-up band” for Deb and Kimber’s Southern California debut concert on that same stage.
