Sophia Bass is an 18-year-old Virginia native, who began playing piano and composing music at the age of six. Sophia won many awards as a young child for her original piano compositions, and then, when she hit the teen years, she picked up the guitar and just started playing. The lyrics easily rolled off of her tongue, and she quickly learned that she also had a talent for arranging.

Sophia Bass is an 18-year-old Virginia native, who began playing piano and composing music at the age of six. Sophia took command of the piano as a small child, and composed classical, Latin and jazz pieces, winning many awards for her original piano compositions. When Sophia was 11 years old, the McLean Symphony Orchestra, in McLean, VA orchestrated one of her pieces for their spring concert. When Sophia hit the teen years, she picked up the guitar and just started playing. Sophia's lyrics are deep, relevant and passionate. She writes about the complexities of love relationships and social issues - war, discrimination, and homelessness. Sophia Bass is a dynamic artist and a great performer.

Sophia Bass released her first CD, Step Into My Dream, in May 2007.
