In 1990,Sonja discovered her calling as a Worship Leader, Singer/Songwriter and Musician. She began studying worship in the USA at Christ for the Nations Worship Seminiars, The Institute of Worship headed by Lamar Boschman, Dallas, TX and at Hillsong Music Australia Worship Conference, Sydney, Australia.

Sonja studied Christian Songwriting at Integrity Music's Songwriter Retreats in Talladega, AL and Music at UTC Chattanooga, TN with classes in Music Theory and Music Arranging

Sonja is currently active playing keyboard on the worship team at Crossover Community Church in Blue Ridge, GA.
