Story Behind The Song

I was looking out through the bars of the security gate at home at night and saw the low cloud lit up by the lights of some sports stadium close by and as I said the words of the opening line I said "Hey! that sounds like a good line for a song". The song was written in about 10 minutes.

Song Description

While sipping a glass of red wine, looking back at days gone by and thinking of what might have been and wanting a chance to start over whether life would be lived the same or not.
