Song Description

Talks about a guy who is always thinking about a girl that he can no longer be with, but he thinks about her from "Time to TIme". Basically stating that she will always be with him if only in his mind.

Story Behind the Song

I was dating a girl in a town about 100 miles from Tulsa named Aimee. I had been with this girl that I dearly loved before her named Rachel and she and I were great together in most aspects, but she was crazy and I was crazy about her. Here I was coming home one day from Aimee's house, been there all weekend and next thing I know I find myself in lalaland thinking about Rachel as I'm driving back to Tulsa. So I wrote this song on the dash board of my truck on the way home and we finished it later with James.

Lyrics

I was just wonderin'
Baby how have you been
It's sure good to see your smile
It's been a while

Well, how have I been?
I've been doin'
I've been doin' fine
Tryin' to pass the time

Yeah, you sure look good
Baby I knew you would
You always drove me outta my mind
Yeah, and from Time to Time

I, I, I think about you girl
I can't get you outta my mind
And from Time to Time
I catch myself dreamin'
I catch myself thinkin' about you
Yeah, from Time to Time
But then I open my eyes
And I realize
You're still drivin' me outta my mind
Yeah, from Time to Time

Well, I guess you've gotta go
Before you leave I've gotta know
Can I call you from Time to Time?
Oh if you don't mind

Cause you can't call me
There no tellin' where I'll be
But you'll be right there by my side
If only in my mind

If you think about
Maybe trying to work it out
Make sure you tell me when I call
Yeah, from Time to Time

Repeat Chorus:
