365 Degrees

Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song as my life was changing in the worst way I thought possible. I was loosing my house, my kids, and all of my family and friends. I wrote this song on the piano which was taken due to non payments. I wrote this song on my walls in black marker to show every one what I was going through. This song was presented to Burliegh Drummond from the group Amrosia and his wife Mary Harris help bring this song to life.

Song Description

This song is a cry for help to family and friends to love me each day and for me to love them each and every day. Special days may not come. Each day we live is precious.

Lyrics

365 Degrees

Hello mothers, goodbye mothers,
Where were you when I needed you?
And hello fathers, goodbye fathers,
Thanks for all of the nothings that you led me to!

Yea that?s me here;
I?m stuck on this stage
They could write a book about my life
If they did you?d see yourself on the printed pages

All my life, I?ve tried to fit,
And God only knows
I?ve been down those roads
I love life; I?ve begged Him to take it
And all my dreams are so clear to see
With open eyes, a heart with love, and opened eyes
365 degrees

Hello sisters, goodbye sisters,
So many times have I needed you!
Hello brothers, goodbye my brothers,
Can you see the eyes of a brother?
That you never knew.

I?ve watched my dreams, die,
In a second of a day
I?ve watched your schemes and your lies
And your faces change, along the way

All my life I?ve tried to fit,
And God only knows
I?ve been down those roads
I love life, I?ve begged Him to take it
And all my dreams are so clear to see
With open eyes and if I live my life with love in my heart
365 degrees

Special days, they run together,
They run together for me,
Birthdays, father?s days, mother?s days
An anniversary

All my life, I?ve tried to fit,
And God only knows that
I?ve been down those roads
I love life, but I?ve begged Him to take it
And all my dreams are so clear to see
With open eyes and if I live my life with love in heart
365 degrees
