Song Description

A reflection about life... a reflection about those in the world who have gone through natural disasters and being left with nothing but themselves... nothing but their character, their spirit, their hopes, and their dreams.

Story Behind the Song

After the disaster in Haiti, I couldn't help but sit down and write... the lyrics seemed to pour out of me... I feel it's a song that everyone can relate to because it's a song about life, about life's struggles, and wishing we were all safe.

Lyrics

"Frostbite"

You see them sitting there
Left with nothing but a whole heart
And you hear them whispering
About a time that, they dream would start
But you left there wondering,
If they would ever have a chance to part

CHORUS
Ooh, if life were simple
You could've been warm
Could've been safe at home tonite
Love, if love were simple
You wouldn't feel so cold inside
Just like a frostbite

You waited for the day
For something black change to grey
A chance to make something far beyond your dreams

CHORUS
Ooh, if life were simple
Could've been warm
Could've been safe at home tonite
Love, if love were simple
Wouldn't feel so cold inside
Just like a frostbite

(Breakdown)
Ooh, if life were simple
Could've been warm, could've been safe at home tonite...

Love, if love were simple
You wouldn't feel so cold inside
Frostbite
