																Lyrics

									Charleston
So we?re driving back north up I-95 with a smile on our lips and a tear in our eyes?
We?ve had ten great days and a whole lot of fun, but the mountains are calling and we?ve got to run.
Now we hate to go but we?ll be back soon ? beneath the cabbage palmettos and the Carolina moon?
We?ll have fun all night and have sun all day in the friendliest city in the USA.
Thank you Charleston, we had a ball. Goodbye Charleston; we love y?all.
Now there?s no place like it in the whole wide world for the food and the drinks and the beautiful girls?
Smiling faces and the beautiful tans with the sun in their hair and their toes in the sand?
Now we all came down here tired and cold, feeling down and dirty and lonely and old?
But the folks were friendly and the drinks were free, and we got to thinking we might never leave?
Well thanks for listening and putting us up, we?re raising our glasses and tipping our cups to say: ?Cheers to Charleston!?, before we?re on our way.
We had a good time and we made a lot of friends and we?ll be back to do it over again ? but for now, we?re headed back home to the ADK. [That?s the Adirondacks, for anyone who hasn?t had the pleasure?]
