Extremely soulful effort. Really good lyrics and cool key and chord changes. Instrumentation and arrangement all fit very well with a piece like this. Vocals very up-front, which is ideal for this song.

This is an Acoustic Singer Songwriter piece with a catchy melody " I Won't Be Heard Again. This a very fine quality music. The production and voice are excellent. The lyric writing and music are clearly written by someone who has been writing for years, it demands to be listened to there is real confidence that comes through despite the songs sad message - Not being heard again is any musicians' hell right?

Outstanding is the simple arrangement and instrumentation, very well done. Maj. 7ths, always been my favorite. The simple instrumentation with very sophisticated chords is very attractive. Very nice presentation from vocalist. I don't know if you were trying to do this, but the structure of the song pictures what the song is about. A simple overriding idea trying to cover very complex problems.

Really liked the orchestration from the various guitar parts, each having it's space, voice and purpose in the track. The arrangements understatement really helps this song focus on the emotion of the lyrics. I would not add anything to the instrumentation as it would take away from the beauty of the guitar work. Wish the song was just a little longer with a stretched out ending even if the melody line was just hummed at the end.

None to give.

This song is a nice soft rock/ Jazz fusion with a clever key change and some very fine guitar playing. The singer's voice sits up nice and high in the mix where it should be as this is an excellent voice. The lyrics are sad and heartfelt and they remind me in a sense of Paul Simon's "I Am A Rock".

I love this fingerpicking sound! Are you a Lindsey Buckingham fan? Very pretty stuff. Nice lead guitar too. I love the chord voicing. Using some open strings in there? This a great song, and your delivery is fine. I wonder if it might have more emotional impact with a female vocal, just because of the imagery of a girl locked away in her castle. Might be useful if pitching it for a movie or TV show. If not, maybe a breathier performance of the vocal. All that being said, I really like the song.
