sounds very Crosby Stills Nash and Young.. at first I thought it was a cover of Woodstock. nice singing overall not the issue but it sounds to much like an anthem song already created with this sound

Very creative take and original idea on the subject, with very good and poignant lyrics and great instrumentation and harmonies. Truer words have never been written.

Lyrics
I'M PROTESTING WOODSTOCK NATION
CHORUS
I'm protesting Woodstock nation
How'd we stray so far away?
Held a promise now forsaken
Lost our vision, lost our way
We were birthing new salvation
We had the world's complete attention
I'm protesting Woodstock Nation
We let the dream just fade away
V 1:
Baby boomers, early bloomers built a miracle
Yazgar's farm, a world of charm, became the oracle
The air was sweet, with hope replete, the music so brand new
Half a million sharing peace, the future in clear view
REPEAT CHORUS
V 2:
Say goodbye to reason, you're either Left or Right
Just pin a label, lay the blame, its all so black or white
Fulfilled in our intolerance, it couldn't get much worse,
How could it be our brave new world's becoming such a curse?
REPEAT CHORUS
BRIDGE
We came upon the child of God
And took the other road
We slipped into our parent's shoes
To walk streets paved with fool's gold.
Can't get back to the garden...
