Story Behind The Song
I write a lot of the self-reflection type of songs and this one was my attempt to put an epic type style ala Alman Brothers. I wanted a journey of words to have a matching journey of music which built and changed with each other.
Song Description
One of those "discovered self truth" songs on a journey down the road of life. I like this one the best due to the call and response in the chorus and the energy built up by the time changes and solos.

Lyrics
Horizons
Life is like the open road
There?s horizons and turns that you can?t hold
Finding potholes in the dark of night
And missing exits that you can never find
But I see. That the road leads on from me
What?d you want? That?s the price of being free
Sometimes, oh it?s all impossibilities
But it?s what I believe. It?s what I need
Sometimes you get tired of thinking
Oh the miles like the years roll by
?till again your eyes see that horizon
and you trade your parking spot for a ride
CH
Don?t you get that feelin?
It?s deep inside of you, deep inside of me
Look within to find out what you really need
Is it peace? Or is it @#%^#$^$#
Repeat first vs. after solo and CH four times
