Story Behind The Song

Briefly I would like to share that the I was not at the production of the demo,the producer had the singer inserted extra words where I prefered he had not. Therefore, There are differences between the lyrics and demo. I began writing prior to the age of 13 Y.O. Then at about the age of 13 (1968-69), also impoverished as a child, I took lyrics and melody to one of my songs to a DJ's Office, a scout was on his last day there, looking for fresh new songs for an up-coming British Pianist. The DJ gave my song, hand-written on a piece of paper to the scout and I sang the song from a room out of the scouts sight. The DJ's copier was out,so if I wanted the aspiring Brit to consider my song,I had to give up my original. I told them I didn't have the money for copyrights. The song was on the radio two years later but because I didn't have copyrights or the money to fight it,Lawyers I phoned told me I didn't have a chance. This song has similarities to it, it starts for someone else, evolves to include my personal experiences, then back to the songs theme. Compare this song to "Daniel."

Song Description

This song had two meanings in an abstract way. 1.It's a song of lost love 2.Religiously, it could be misinterpreted as the lost soul who never found the lord. Prior to writing this song, I let my mind wander into this magnificent Midnight Blue Vastness, thoughts visions and dreams, a love whom I thought I would be with crept into my memory...resulting in "Midnight Blue"
