Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song while thinking of my dear friend, whose husband was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer. I was thinking of how much she loves and adores him and wanted to acknowledge the intimacy in this song. I was picturing them in their home, a hallway leading to their bedroom. Imagining how comforting it must be to hear him coming down the hall, how much they must both cling to the quiet peace of nighttime, the time in each other's arms.
Song Description
This song is about the fragility of life, how we don't really know what tomorrow brings. Cherishing the intimacy we have today, right now. How the nighttime is sacred time between lovers.

Lyrics
Let The Night Time In
I want to hear your foots steps in the hall
I want to let the night time in
I want to hear you call
I want to follow you down the hall
They say we don?t know
what tomorrow brings
They say we don?t know
what tomorrow brings
When the leaves have fallen
And the tree stands bare
I don?t want the loneliness
The days without you there
They say we don?t know
what tomorrow brings
They say we don?t know
what tomorrow brings
I want to let the night time in
I want to lay in your arms
Feel your chest rising, once again
There?s a place beside me
Where you?ll always be
There?s a place beside me
Where you?ll always be
I want to hear your foot steps
I want to watch you undress
I want to lay on your chest
Feel my cheek on your breast
I want to let the night time in
I want to let the night time in
