Story Behind The Song
This song reflects my experience of mourning the loss of my brother Joel, who died at age 37. It is an attempt to communicate with him, and to let him know how important he will always be in my life.
Song Description
A transcendently soaring vocal line gently bemoans the loss of a loved one and looks forward to reuniting in heaven. The lyrics are subtle enough that the song could be interpreted reflecting love lost to distance or time.

Lyrics
They could say I think you hung the moon
I know you did, I know you did, I know you did
I can't believe that I won't see you soon
I miss you so much, it's in eveything I touch
And all I do
Winglike wisp of cloud across the sky
It's like a dream, it's like a dream, it's like a dream
Thought I saw the snowy down float by
I don't know how to be, it's in everything I see
And all I do
And when the ocean meets the shore
And when the sunlight makes its waves along the floor
I am remembering you
Eyes are sliding seven silver tears
This isn't real, this isn't real, this isn't real
Kind words and sympathetic ears
No matter what they say, they just can't take it away
Nothing will
Heaven yawns and you go home again
I'll see you there, I'll see you there, I'll see you there
Less afraid with you to guide me in
And by the stars above, you are everything I love
I always will
With every sentence that I start
And with the beating of my lost and broken heart
I am remembering you
