Story Behind The Song
My father told me a story about a hustler who fell in front of his rental car in France.
Song Description
This song combines the cool sophistication of a James Bond theme with the sardonic humor of a Smiths song. The first voice explains in melodic French that someone has fallen in front of the narrator's car. The second verse, another melody in Spanish, denies ownership of a car. The third verse, in German, wails "No, please, G-d, no!" Then all three melodies combine for the harmonious finale.
