Song DescriptionA reflection on the fat cats of this world and how they abuse their positions
Story Behind the SongI was feeling in the mood to write a song that had that Rolling Stones vibe going on. That relaxed looseness they have to their rock & roll

Broadjam Member Reviews
AC/DC meets Bob Segar! It rocks with grit, the fiery sarcastic lyrics with a gravely vocal to match, served with big greasy sloppy portions the way old school rock and roll was meant to be served! The description of the despicable central character intensifies with each stanza. Instrumentally strong, notes carefully placed, and played with excellent finesse! This would be a fine album cut for any classic style hard rock album.

Lyrics
You strut around with your chest puffed out
You never talk, you just scream and shout
All you ever do is criticise
And nothing ever looks right to your eyes
People listen when you got something to say
Someone's gonna hurt, they're gonna pay
Unleash the dogs of war, turn them loose
Everybody knows you're the Cock of the roost......Cock of the roost
No one can contain you
You're a man on a mission, it's true
You grab the bull by the horns
You know just what to do
People listen when you got something to say
Someone's gonna hurt, they're gonna pay
Unleash the dogs of war, turn them loose
Everybody knows you're the Cock of the roost
Power corrupts, but women find it bliss
Money keeps them sweet. It's better than a kiss
You use them up like sweaters
A different one each day
And you've been sued so many times, but never, ever pay
We all know you're the King of the coop
The Goddamn top of the pile
You're El Presidente
A man who oozes style
You're the Capo de capi
You're the leading man
You built yourself from nothing
The picture of a self made man
People listen when you got something to say
Someone's gonna hurt, they're gonna pay
Unleash the dogs of war, turn them loose
Everybody knows you're the Cock of the roost......Cock of the roost
