Story Behind The Song
had the chord structure and really liked it. The vocal melody came after playing the chords for awhile and letting it breathe. A girlfriend had asked me to write a song for her and this was it. I am very pleased with the lyrics and didn't know where the right title was and then, Moving Imperfections!!?? That said it all, even though it's never said.

Lyrics
Moonlight and perfect laughter
Full glass of wine and hope in your eyes
You listen to the romance
Quietly drift away in her gaze
But, something still feels out of place
That something you still can?t replace
Nobody else ever will? Move you the way I do
Although you smile, your sadness
Is so thinly veiled in your church of one
What no one else can seem to find,
I?ve always seen so clearly in you.
No matter how long you deny
How many ways you justify
Nobody else ever will? See you the way I do
(bridge)
Go on and run, far and wide, you can pretend
You have moved on with your life but, the hunger transcends
You ask how could you return?
But, the answers how long can you stay away?
No matter how long you deny
How many ways you justify
Nobody else ever will? Fill you the way I do
