Giddy Up

Story Behind The Song

Came from David Darnell coming up with the title and it sparking music in my mind. David quickly wrote more lines and we were due in the studio in two days to record other songs. I hadn't been this excited about anything in a long time, we had to record it but, get it right! We did get it right.. very proud of this song.

Lyrics

You can take me to a movie, and take me to romantic dinners.
You can lie through your teeth, and keep telling me I?m looking thinner.

(build)
but if you wanna make me happy
want me to be your baby
you can keep all your sweet nothings
just one thing you gotta do

(CHORUS)
you gotta put some giddyup in your get it up
show me some of your wilder side
you gotta put some giddyup in your get it up
keep my motor running on high
If you wanna make the final cut
Want me to be your buttercup? then Giddyup

Now you know how I like, the sweet little things, that you do for me
But baby that ain?t, it ain?t everything, oh that a girl needs

(build 2)
reach down and stir the pot
get the good stuff to the top
don?t tell me that you love me
I already know that?s true

(CHORUS)

(fiddle solo)

(breakdown)
we can get down, get it on, talk dirty on the phone
together we?ll find, what?s behind, inside your secret mind
want me to be, your barbie, your fantasy nurse?
Let?s have some fun, let?s succumb and find out what works
cause you?ve got to put some

(CHORUS)
