Story Behind The Song
I wrote "So Clearly" for my Mother. She went to the dentist's office one afternoon and never returned. She was 43 years old and always said that she wanted to remain young forever. We even danced to Rod Stewart's "Forever Young" at my wedding eight months earlier. And though it was an extremely painful experience knowing she would never come home to us, I found some solace in the thought that, at 43, she seemingly got her wish and would be going "home" to her Maker, the place we all "dream" to make it to in our life after death.
Song Description
"So Clearly" speaks to the sudden loss of a loved one in one's ;ife and the coping process that follows with some self-understanding.

Lyrics
?So Clearly?
I can?t accept that it?s over
I mean I heard him say the words
And I don?t know where I?m going
But I?ve gotta get away from the hurt
Only just yesterday we were on the phone
Talking ?bout the next time I?d see you
I can?t believe how this ended
And now I?m left all alone
As the?
(Chorus)
Dark clouds rise above the ocean
And it seems so easy now that I?m amused
It?s something good men can only dream about
But I see it now, so clearly
I said I see it now, so clearly
So you?ve moved on to better things
Though I don?t know how that can be
I looked up at you for answers
So are you looking down upon me
My hope is one day I can see you
Once again as you were
But for now I?ve got these pictures
So I?ll tell them that was her
As the?
(Chorus)
