Song Description

Getting married? Hate the traditional wedding march? Give a listen! This a beautiful alternate you need not listen twice to fall in love with. You will hum this long after your wedding. I have written lyrics (following), but haven't found a vocalist yet.

Story Behind the Song

I wrote this in 1989 during a time when I played many many weddings! There is clearly a need for something different.

Instrumental intro (4 bars)

Verse 1
With you I share this moment
to you I make this vow
my life is yours to have and to hold
through all the years from now

Verse 2
In this I pledge to love you
to keep you for all time
I'll save all that I am just for you
and never be unkind

Chorous 1
All we bring
is the love
that our hearts have found
take my hand as we wed
with the words---

I do love you
and I will take you
I will be the one
at your side
when you laugh
when you cry
you and I
forever we will be

Verse 3
Today begins a new life
a life of love and care
we know that when our time is all through
our love will still be there

Chorous 2
Now there is one heart
born to a new world
two as one
a lifetime through

We will share all the hope
that two hearts can bind
take my hand
now I give all my love and

Last chorous
Now I have found you
now you have found me
two as one
a lifetime through
to love
