Song Description

This song is for those who are sorrowful possibly because they have lost someone through bereavement. It encourages us to finf peace and healing in God at times like these. It is based on Psalm 84, verse 6.

Story Behind the Song

This song was written when I lived in N. Ireland during the time of "the troubles" when so many people lost family and friends through the violence.

Lyrics

Chorus:
When you pass through the valley of weeping
It will become for you a place of springs;
When you pass through the valley of weeping
It will become for you a place of springs.

Look to me and I'll refresh you;
Look to me and I'll be there;
When you pass through the valley of weeping
It will become for you a place of springs;
A place of springs of living water
To cleanse your heart and heal your soul;
When you pass through the valley of weeping
It will becme for you a place of springs.

Hum chorus (or have it played on violin)

Repeat verse, singing last line twice to finish.
