Broadjam Member Reviews
I really liked the feel of this song. Great melody, instrumentation and vocal production. The song tells a story, which is what Country music is all about. It has a memorable melody, that kind that stays with you even after the song is finished. Nicely done.

Lyrics
BEEN THERE, DONE THAT©
Words & Music by Pat Flanakin
CHORUS Been there, done that
Not gonna go back
Don't want ya
Comin' round no more
Too late, to save
All the love that we made
No
It ain't worth fightin for
(1)
Just when things were lookin good
Like they should, knock on wood
Couldn't get any better
Suddenly to my surprise
Right there before my eyes
She left me a letter
It took my breath away
I can't believe she'd say
CHORUS
(2)
Jumped into my pickup truck
Fired it up, wish me luck
I don't wanna lose her
I'm tryin hard not to cry
Memories passin by
I'm not gonna lose her
It keeps runnin through my head
Ev'ry word she said
CHORUS
BRIDGE:
When I got to her home
She was not alone
She was busy in the arms
Of another man
(3)
Just when things were lookin good
Like they should, knock on wood
Couldn't get any better
Suddenly to my surprise
Right there before my eyes
I can't forgive her
No, not today
I just drove away
2ND CHORUS
I've been there, done that
Not gonna go back
Don't want ya

Too late, to save
