Story Behind The Song

Ryan wrote this about some of the dialogue between him and an ex-girlfriend when they were breaking up. You know that cartoon where the female character reaches into the male character's chest and rips out his heart, holds it up to his face while it is still beating, then tosses it to the ground and stomps on it? That was the beginning of the inspiration for this song after the break-up.
