The Ego,
beware of me?. As I am the creator of illusions ,
your ego
I draw the very last breath form your body
And watch? in absolute delight
As you dwindle away into the shadows
I become your sole confidant
As I have been with you since birth
I am the parasite that sucks your innate knowledge
And replaces it with a testimony of untruths
You? diminish in stature whilst I, your nemesis
Become your hero? whom you worship adoringly

I am your ego
Bring to me your afflictions

Your reality, sense of self and I
We make an unholy alliance
From which, it is difficult to break free
Delight in me,
