Lyrics
A Woman?s Tears
What harvest do I have to show for my days of toiling
Except a tear stained face and a heart of neglected desires
I once heard the God counts every tear
That falls from a woman?s eyes
Then tell me Heavenly One,
How many tears have I thus far shed along the way
And how many more must fall from mine eyes
Before I stand on hallowed ground
How much more sadness must fill my heart
Before you consider me worthy
I feel so abundant but yet,
There is no one upon whom I can bestow these treasures
Please tear down these walls that have sworn me to secrecy
As I can no longer walk upon this earth and not speak
?Twinkle, twinkle little star
How I wonder where you are?
How much longer must the fruit that hath ripened
Remain upon the vine before it falls to the earth
And is devoured by animals
Instead of ministering to appease
the spiritual hunger of mankind
Count now instead the sweat that falls from my brow
As I labor to magnify thy kingdom
My tears are merely your souvenir
But my toil could be your exaltation
Every tear that falls from a woman?s eyes
Now adorns the celestial skies
?Twinkle, twinkle little star
How I wonder whose tears you are?
