Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song really fast. Its the least time I've spent on a song in about a year. All in all, I spent about 7 hours working on it from the first sound to the mastering. I don't know what to say. I guess it just flowed for me. It's been a long time since that has happened. It feels good to know I can still sometimes tap into that realm of the soul and and just let loose. This mix is still a bit basic. I'll probably add some more percussion and ambience to it before putting it on the SKETCH PATTERNS LP. But, you can certainly get the idea. This one is real chill so I recommend putting on your headphones, turning out the lights, and just "lift".
