Lyrics

Slippin' Thru These Cracks
Margie & Art Corey Copyright 2018 (c)

1st Verse
Never thought this would be this easy
Slippin' thru the cracks.....
I never thought this would be that easy
Oh....covering up my tracks...
Come along with me
We can see, what we can see
Yeah, slippin' thru these cracks
If you step on that old line
You'll brake your back
Oh and waste my time.......

2nd Verse
Let's keep on the way down low
On the hush...hush
Let's keep it on the Que-tee Baby
No need to rush....
We can keep it real slow
But if you don't like it
You don't have to go........
No, No.................
We could be on the outside lookin' in
Out of the frey, out of the spin....

Chorus
Want to get back to normal again
I feel like I'm fallin' up stairs
It's easy to slip thru them cracks
If I'm gone, will anyone care?

Lead Solo

Yeah, slippin' thru these cracks

Chorus
Want to get back to normal again
I feel like I'm fallin' up stairs
It's easy to slip thru them cracks
If I'm gone, will anyone care?

Yeah, slippin' thru the cracks.....

Yeah, slippin' thru the cracks.....

Piano is nice and funky. The arrangement definitely picks up steam. Vocalist has attitude, not unlike Doctor John.

Great stuff Folks!! Cute track!

Best song I may have heard from you both, Margie and Art! Nothing but good vibes from this production and songwriting. Strong arrangement of all the instruments.

Is that you Margie? Good tune, well done. Fun little song to listen to, keep it up.
