Story Behind The Song
We were on a 4 year binge when we wrote this song. That explains it ....
Song Description
This spooky story becomes a dark, brassy and hair raising electrical experience. The tale comes straight out of a horror story (Alfred Hitchcock or the Twighlight Zone). A man is the last remaining survivor from his expedition. He is about to die when he is saved by a couple crows who lead him out of danger to safety. But in return for this good deed they each pluck an eyeball out of his head and fly off. The man regains his strength and returns into the dangerous land of the crows where he fights until he retrieves his eyeballs and kills the fowl beasts who caused his anguish. As for the music, you gotta listen to get it. It's truly indescribable.

Lyrics
Crow Soup With Eyeballs (Dusty Road)
© 2004 James McMillan, Aaron Miller, Dave Marlatt
VERSE 1:
Down the dusty road I made my way home
My feet are cold and the old legend grows
I set about with five, but now I am alone
Black crows are circling, and it chills me to the bone
VERSE 2:
Down that dusty road, I lost my way home
They woulda? carved my name into a cold tombstone
But two crows guided me, like heroes, through the night
Then each took one eyeball as a reward for my life
VERSE 3:
So onward and on I drive tormented by the memory
Of missing symmetry and my last glimpse of light
I know I owe them and I hear them atop the trees
At least a million crows and only one of me
VERSE 4:
So down that dusty road I make my way home
My pouch is rattling, it?s full of old crow bones
Nests & Egg stew dripping off my back
My own bloody eyeballs
