Lyrics
MAKE SOME NOISE
written by Linda Storey copyright 2008
Long ago the doctor told me, I had a disease.
Getting weak, getting dizzy, losing energy.
"I don't know just what to tell you, MS is a ruthless thing.
It can move so slow that you hardly notice, take your legs or your eyes can't focus."
MS is a ruthless thing.
Years ago I read the paper, they had cured a mouse.
They had used stem cells to do this, I could hope at last.
Then they tied the doctor's hands, they did not understand.
There are brilliant people living in this world, let them work they will find the cure
stop the suffering.
CHORUS
Let's make some noise, there is a better way.
Make some noise, believe it every day
and make some noise!
Today a husband took his wife to the nursing home.
He thought because her legs were weakened she couldn't be alone.
Why do we want to segregate the able from the frail?
Though her legs were weak her mind was strong.
Time for us to right this wrong
and stop the suffering
CHORUS
Don't you know that she's all alone in the nursing home?
There's nothing there to hold her dreams.
The girls that work there, they don't live there.
Send them to her home that's what she pleads.
CHORUS
