I like the change from minor mode to major.

Really arresting beginning - made me sit up and listen straight away. Very suited to soundtracking, I'd've said. Nice contrast in the slower middle part - good oboe sounds and harmonies going on. I like this a lot, especially as it resolves into more major keys later on towards the end. Shades of Copland. Really, really nice work.
