Story Behind The Song
Have you ever used Google? Silly question. We all use and love that now-ubiquitous search engine and some of us can't live without it, myself included.
This song is actually the melody for another work-in-progress called "Faithful". I have the lyrics nearly done and I'll record the vocals soon.
In the meantime, to create some placeholder vocal lines, I came up with the words for "Google Man" in about two minutes scribbled on a post-it-note. I quickly sang the vocals and it ended up sounding ok actually.
I posted the song up at kvr-vst.com and it was a hugely popular download. In fact, it's the most downloaded song off this koorby.com website. That is both scary and sad. Satirical parody lives!
Anyway, have a giggle and enjoy Google Man.
Song Description
This is a very Billy Joel or Phil Collins sounding 80's style pop tune, with the perfect length of 3:33. It opens with some classic chords and bass, then launches into the vocals (which are not commercial grade I'm afraid to say).
I had a lot of fun making this song.

Lyrics
I don't exist
But on your screen
You know my name
But you can't see me
I'm the Google man
Anything I want to find
Hand to keyboard from my mind
I'm the Google man
Chorus
-----------
Google me, I'll Google you
It won't take long till I find you
Google me, I'll Google you
It won't take long till I find you
I'm the Google man
Instant on and instant off
A millisecond now seems so long
I'm the Google man
Information at my fingertips
How convenient is this?
I'm the Google Man
Repeat Chorus twice
