Story Behind The Song

This track took only 90 minutes in total to put together. It's me playing with my new toy, Spectrasonics Symphony of Voices, which is a superb choir and vocal sample collection. The foundation synth lines are all Korg Wavestation, then I layered SOV vocals and finally added some piano and guitar. It's a somber sounding piece but still quite musical. I have lots of plans to do epic-sounding choral pieces along with symphony orchestra pieces. Most of what you're hearing on this website is simple experimentation and me just having some fun and getting back into making music again. One day I will actually spend more than a single day making a song :)

Song Description

This is almost an oxymoron - new age synth lines layered over the top of gregorian choir samples, but it seems to work well. This is another piece you'd need to close you eyes to and listen with headphones on.
