Story Behind The Song

Inspired by Erykah Badu, Ella Fitzgerald and Cape Breton celtic reels. Story inspired by female ancestors (Nova Scotia) who didn't want to play the traditional role of 'wife', but rather thirsted for adventure and independence.

Jazz/Celtic blend with guitar/drums/ bass and jazz guitar solo, as well as a vocal 'scat' solo. Irish Reel type chorus. Ends with chorus sung extremely fast.
