Story Behind The Song
I wrote this when I was living in Allston, MA, the rock and roll capital of the universe. I was driving a cab at night and always had a wad of cash and was really happy. The words to this song fell trippingly off my tongue and I remember laughing at the taste of the words as I sang them. Another rare instance of some kind of beatific ventriloquism.
Song Description
A very slow country blues song about requesting to be buried on the moon on my dying day. Many seventh chords
and "surprise" blue notes accompanmy a narrative of mishaps.
