Story Behind The Song
My brother committed suicide at a young age of 22. Drugs and depression were involved. I wrote this in his memory. One person told me on a break during a cover band gig this song had saved her life after she had been raped and going through deep depression. Hmmm. I guess I'll keep writing! For me this song is about prayer, and the connection we all have to greatest of all lifeline's.

Lyrics
Lifeline
If you don?t believe in your self
Then who believes in you
If you want to be something else
You?ve got to start by being you
Whoever you are
Hold on hold on
Take another day to sing your song
Go on go on if you want to chase your dreams
You?ve got to run
Keep yourself alive
You know the sun will shine in due time
Your dreams will work out right
Just hold on with all your might
To the lifeline
Hold on to the lifeline
If you want to set yourself free
Remove one bar at a time
Because you know this jail your in my friend
Will surely make you lose your mind
Hold on hold on
Take another day to sing your song
Go on go on if you want to chase your dreams
You?ve got to run
Keep yourself alive
You know the sun will shine in due time
Your dreams will work out right
Just hold on with all your might
To the lifeline
Hold on to the lifeline
If you don?t believe in your self then who believes in you
