I was part of a two-man band that never played a show

I asked Klep if he didn?t like my style, he asked if I had just smoked crack
Then why?d you leave me standing solo in the aisle, did you think the gas was free
Klep started laughing hard for quite a while and said JD you must be fooling me

You think I?d pump and then not cough, I outta kick your sorry ass
My heart missed a beat, it felt like I was dead, turns out that it was me
Who paid forty-two dollars for a water and the debt
of some other chump whose gasoline was free
