Reminds me of music from the San Francisco area during the late 60's...very similar vibe to that region and era.

    - Sam Cooper

Clever lyrics very well sung, only - I wish I knew what the misdeed was that caused the song's content. A smooth, ear-pleasing song. And such clever rhymes. It may be a folk song but the lyrics are sophisticated. And the music as well as the voice remains on one's mind loudly and clearly and pleasantly for a long time after the song has stopped playing.

Maybe There's A Miracle

Nobody's gonna know what to say
Nobody believes it today
Nobody can quite comprehend
My Friend

Everybody's gonna call out your name
Everybody's gonna feel just the same
Everybody's gonna cry late tonight
It just ain't right
Oh... Mercy, shine your light

---Chorus---
Maybe there's a Miracle a little further on
Maybe there's a reckoning waiting just beyond
Imagine it's another day, to lighten up the load
I trust that there's a better way, waiting down the road
Maybe there's a Miracle
------------------
If I never see you again
It made me proud to be your friend
I hope I might have told you that before now
Some how

You'll never really go very far
You're always gonna be here in my heart
I'll always remember you that way
Come what may
Oh...Mercy, What can I say

---Repeat Chorus - x 2---
